2016 June 4-7 the 1st China – Central-Eastern European Cultural and Creative Industry Forum 2016 took place in Belgrad (Serbia). The theme of the event was “Our Common Future: Creative Industries and Cultural Trade”.

More than 100 experts from China, Central and Eastern Europe (Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Croatia, Albania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina etc) took part in this two-day conference.

Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania delegated Lithuanian Design Forum to present the context of creative and cultural industries in Lithuania. For the very first time contacts were exchanged with China and Balkan countries.
During the conference documentary about China’s Cultural Industry (co-produced by China and Serbia) was displayed. What is more, participants gave speeches about creative and cultural industries in different countries, as well as discussed opportunities for international collaboration.
