Design Week ’23 took place in six Lithuanian cities – Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda, Alytus, Anykščiai and Telšiai – from 5 to 11 June. During the 18th edition of the festival, more than 50 exhibitions were held in various galleries and design salons, 27 events invited to get acquainted with the manifestations of design, and more than 30 designers presented their works in the showcases of dezainovacija.lt in Vilnius and Kaunas. In addition, three cinemas presented four unique films.

For the first time, the Vilnius Academy of Arts presented an exhibition of diplomas. Fashion, textiles, interiors, products, graphic design and ceramics were showcased together with Design Week ’23. The organisers of one of the commercial events surprised with their originality by presenting as many as eight design companies combining interior design and decoration materials in the nature of Kudry Park.

This year’s Design Week festival attracted more than 30 000 visitors, not counting the even wider audience of dizainovacijos.lt – tourists and local passers-by.

We are eager to continue the tradition of the event and to expand the circle of design lovers in Lithuania, and we would like to share our impressions of the festival.
